University of Guelph Satellite Event
Peter Clark Hall, University Centre
University of Guelph

Guelph, ON N1G 1Y4
On March 27 and 28, 2019, the Live Work Well Research Centre at the University of Guelph will be hosting a satellite event for the Families in Canada Conference 2019!
In addition to the National Conference being held at the Infinity Convention Centre in Ottawa, our university partners across the country will also be hosting satellite events. This pan-Canadian approach extends the reach of the Families in Canada Conference 2019: panel discussions from the National Conference will be livestreamed to the satellite events, which will also provide local programming on-site that focuses on topics of interest to their specific region and/or communities.
The Live Work Well Research Centre anticipates and responds to the changing needs of families, work and well-being in all their diverse forms through research, teaching, knowledge sharing, policy and community-engaged activities.
Note: A reception will also be held on March 27, 2019 at 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (Eastern Time) at this event.
The local panel sessions in Guelph will reflect the context of their location with the following four key themes:
- Care and Families
- Food and Families
- Work and Families
- Well-being and Families
